Provides mechanical design engineering support for defence-sector projects using CREO. Responsibilities include developing accurate designs, supporting projects from requirements through completion, maintaining documentation and progress reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role requires a mechanical engineering degree, design experience, strong problem-solving and communication skills, SC clearance, and British nationality.

Lead small-to-medium IT projects within Defence, managing budgets, schedules, stakeholders and contracts. Produce business cases, control commercial aspects, and deliver programmes from strategic planning through implementation.

Lead and oversee electrical equipment work packages from concept through delivery and testing. Manage suppliers, design authorities, plans, budgets, requirements, lifecycle, verification/qualification, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communications to meet time, cost, and quality targets.

Support delivery of a portfolio of defence projects against the customer's end-to-end PM framework. Consolidate scope, schedules, resources, budgets, risks, and quality. Maintain schedules and resource allocation plans, manage project financials and invoicing, produce stakeholder reporting, coordinate national and international teams, support release and operational handover, and participate in supplier performance and demand planning checkpoints.

Lead mechanical requirements management for missile airframe: define, flow down, control interfaces, ensure verification/validation and compliance, support customer engagement, produce SOWs and manage risks across system and sub-system levels.

Analyze electronics production and test data to identify trends and defects, develop data-driven process optimizations, create dashboards and reports, improve data collection and governance, collaborate with engineering, production, and QA teams, and mentor junior analysts to drive manufacturing performance and reliability.

Lead systems engineering for defence software systems: capture and derive customer requirements, manage requirements traceability, support product-line architecture, control engineering changes, own software components, run trade studies, and coordinate system development and stakeholder communications.

Support defence programmes by developing and maintaining schedules and programme trackers using Primavera P6 and MSP Enterprise Scheduling, establish overseas Project PO controls, implement process governance, monitor timelines and budgets, and provide regular on-site EU support to ensure project alignment.

Lead the requirements lifecycle: elicit, analyse, specify, and govern system and software requirements (TRS/SRS). Ensure traceability, testability, and alignment with integration, verification, and validation. Collaborate with stakeholders, run workshops, maintain versioning and change control, and support simulation-led testing to validate system behaviour.

Own equipment-level work packages for defence systems: manage requirements, define and run equipment test and qualification, oversee suppliers, chair reviews, control cost/schedule/risks, and deliver verified hardware into the wider system.
