Leads the mill’s Process Control department and develops its control strategy, standards, systems, budgets, and technology roadmap. Oversees DCS, PLC, data acquisition, process information, and industrial control network reliability, security, and performance. Provides technical leadership for capital projects, system upgrades, troubleshooting, process optimization, documentation, and compliance. Coaches technical personnel and collaborates with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, IT/OT, vendors, and contractors to improve safety, reliability, quality, efficiency, and profitability.

The Process Control Engineer will analyze processes, develop control strategies, ensure compliance, manage projects, and support operations in a paper mill environment.

Manage budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and monthly management reporting. Build and maintain financial models and KPI dashboards, support month-end close and reconciliations, and partner with operations and accounting to provide actionable financial insights.
