Provides direct nursing care to hospital patients while coordinating unit workflow, staffing, patient transfers, interdisciplinary rounds, and care plans. Monitors safety, quality, and compliance; communicates with physicians, families, and support services; resolves concerns; maintains clinical competency; supports staff development; and helps ensure effective patient-centered care.

Operates and maintains diagnostic imaging equipment to produce images for patient diagnosis and treatment. The role requires ARRT certification or progress toward certification, Basic Life Support credentials, patient confidentiality, and availability for on-call, night, weekend, and holiday coverage. Physical demands include prolonged standing or walking, heavy lifting, and repetitive hand and wrist movements.

Provides safe, efficient nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg setting, with opportunities for training in the ER and Labor and Delivery. Communicates patient status and care plans with families, nurses, supervisors, and medical staff; maintains professionalism, timeliness, accurate documentation, and compliance with facility policies and South Dakota nursing regulations. The role requires physical mobility, patient lifting and repositioning, and current nursing certifications.
