Provide safe, efficient nursing care to patients on Med/Surg with opportunities for ER and L&D cross-training. Communicate with nursing leadership, maintain professionalism and timeliness, assist colleagues, perform patient handling, and follow facility policies and state nursing regulations.

Provide and coordinate nursing care on a hospital unit using the nursing process. Plan, direct, and monitor patient care and unit workflow, maintain staffing and bed flow, communicate with physicians, families, and community agencies, participate in interdisciplinary rounds and performance improvement, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with policies and clinical competencies.

Operate and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment (including CT) to produce images for diagnosis and treatment; maintain certifications; work rotating shifts, nights, weekends and on-call; follow patient confidentiality and physical/ergonomic safety requirements.
