Teams at Polk County Board of County Commissioners

Manages parks capital projects from planning and design through procurement, construction, and closeout. Oversees scopes, schedules, budgets, contracts, consultants, contractors, permitting, funding, invoices, and project documentation. Coordinates with government agencies, stakeholders, and the public; prepares reports and presentations; administers CIP budgets and grants; and supervises assigned staff. The role requires emergency support outside regular business hours and may involve duties beyond the normal scope during emergencies.

Produces, directs, edits, schedules, and broadcasts television programs, public meetings, public service announcements, and remote productions for a government access channel. Operates production and master control equipment, coordinates personnel and county departments, supports audio and technical setups, maintains video resources, trains staff, and contributes to programming and equipment planning. Requires working nights, weekends, emergencies, and occasional travel.

Provides legal advice to Polk County divisions, reviews agenda matters, attends and presents at meetings and hearings, drafts and negotiates contracts, conducts extensive legal research, and performs additional county-law duties. The role is fully on-site, may require emergency reporting, and requires Florida Bar membership before employment.
