Maintains accurate project records, interprets funding requirements, identifies discrepancies and risks, and advises project managers and cross-functional teams on financial matters.

Leads COVE’s Innovation Challenges Program, translating defence and supply-chain needs into innovation challenges for Canadian SMBs. Manages technology validation, commercialization, stakeholder engagement, project portfolios, budgets, milestones, and adoption pathways. Builds relationships with defence organizations, government, primes, industry, and research partners while identifying capability gaps and supporting integration into domestic and international supply chains. Develops scalable governance, processes, and tools for national program growth.

Manage marine-sector projects from initiation through closeout, overseeing scope, schedules, budgets, risks, contracts, vendors, funding requirements, stakeholder coordination, reporting, and governance. The role prepares financial summaries, KPI updates, variance analyses, proposals, and funding applications while ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory, and organizational standards. Occasional travel is required.
