Teams at Polaroid

Owns sustaining mechanical engineering for released Polaroid products in mass production. Responsibilities include ECR/ECN execution, product improvements, cost reduction, manufacturability and productivity enhancements, root-cause analysis of quality issues, tooling and fixture support, supplier collaboration, and engineering documentation updates. The role requires expertise in mechanical assemblies, injection-molded plastics, tolerance analysis, DFM/DFA, CAD, PLM, manufacturing processes, validation, and structured problem-solving methods.

Supports released Polaroid products in mass production through sustaining mechanical engineering, ECR/ECN execution, cost reduction, quality issue resolution, manufacturability improvements, and production productivity initiatives. Responsibilities include mechanical design improvements, root cause analysis, tooling and fixture support, supplier collaboration, validation, documentation updates, and applying DFM/DFA, tolerance analysis, Lean, PFMEA, SPC, Control Plans, and 8D methods.

Lead Polaroid’s commercial strategy and business growth across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Manage distributors, key retailers, strategic accounts, negotiations, forecasts, pricing, margins, trade marketing, retail execution, and market development. Represent the DACH market within the European organization while collaborating with Sales Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Product teams. Develop local team members, strengthen brand presence, deliver revenue and profit objectives, and identify new commercial opportunities.
