The Quality Engineer ensures compliance with customer, statutory, and regulatory requirements in aerospace manufacturing. Responsibilities include developing inspection criteria, maintaining specifications and documentation, managing corrective actions, dispositioning nonconforming materials, evaluating suppliers, establishing inspection and SPC plans, preparing PPAPs and PFMEAs, reviewing purchase orders, supporting audits, and completing AS9102 inspection forms. The role also supports continuous improvement, customer interactions, deviations, and management presentations.

The Manufacturing Engineer will optimize aerospace manufacturing processes, develop work instructions and travelers, design tooling and fixtures, manage customer-owned tooling, and improve quality, capability, cycle times, and waste reduction. The role requires expertise in blueprints, raw materials, process controls, Lean and Six Sigma, aerospace manufacturing, and CAD/CAM software. Duties are performed in a shop-floor environment involving machinery, overhead cranes, repetitive movement, and lifting up to 40 pounds.

Develops and optimizes CNC machining programs for complex aerospace components. Responsibilities include using Mastercam or NX, interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T, designing fixtures, selecting cutting tools, adjusting speeds and feeds, analyzing G-code, and improving manufacturing processes. The role collaborates with engineering, production, quality, purchasing, and scheduling teams. Work involves operating in a manufacturing environment, lifting up to 40 pounds, using overhead cranes, and following shop-floor safety requirements.
