The Senior Accountant will manage month-end and year-end close, financial reporting, AP, payroll accounting, revenue recognition, reconciliations, audits, tax and regulatory reporting, and internal controls across multiple entities and currencies. The role also supports payment-loss reporting, foreign exchange exposure, accounting systems, automation, cloud-cost governance, and cross-functional reporting. Success requires accurate close processes, audit readiness, strong controls, operational efficiency, and effective collaboration with FP&A, Risk, Operations, auditors, and banking partners.

Own the full sales cycle for accounting and bookkeeping firm partners and their SMB clients across Canada. Responsibilities include prospecting, pipeline development, product demonstrations, closing high-velocity SaaS deals, partner onboarding, client adoption, Salesforce management, forecasting, event participation, and regular territory travel. The role collaborates with Customer Success, Marketing, and Partnerships to drive channel growth and exceed revenue targets.

Own and scale Plooto’s growth engine across accounting-channel demand generation, direct acquisition, self-serve growth, lifecycle marketing, and customer expansion. The role oversees CAC, payback, funnel conversion, attribution, CRO, channel strategy, experimentation, and AI-enabled marketing operations. It leads a lean team and partners with Sales, Product, Data, Finance, Marketing Operations, and Revenue Operations to increase pipeline, conversion, LTV, ARPU, and expansion revenue in a high-volume SMB fintech environment.
