Supports safe, efficient extrusion manufacturing through process troubleshooting, root cause investigations, SOP development, quality improvement, equipment optimization, and continuous improvement. Collaborates with R&D, Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Safety, and Engineering teams to scale new products, support capital projects, improve reliability, reduce material and energy costs, and maintain environmental and safety compliance. Provides technical guidance and training to production staff.

Set up, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and automation. Perform equipment calibration, quality inspections, PLC/automation testing, routine maintenance, and document troubleshooting. Support engineering and maintenance, recommend process improvements, and participate in on-call rotation to ensure reliable, safe, and high-quality production.

Provides global strategic leadership for quality assurance, quality control, and quality systems across manufacturing operations. Oversees QMS development, ISO and regulatory compliance, quality metrics, standardization, audits, customer complaints, supplier quality, CAPA, and root cause analysis. Leads quality managers and engineers, drives Lean, Six Sigma, and SPC improvements, manages budgets and resources, and represents Quality in executive planning and customer engagements.

Leads polymer-based product and process development from concept through commercialization, including design, prototyping, validation, production trials, scale-up, and launch. Develops specifications and technical documentation, troubleshoots manufacturing processes, evaluates materials, and ensures quality, safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance. Collaborates with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, customers, and suppliers while providing technical direction and support for innovation and cost-saving initiatives.

Support and learn extrusion line operations including setup, monitoring, troubleshooting, and quality checks. Coordinate with maintenance, QA, and supervisors, assist with schedules and changeovers, participate in training and safety programs, and contribute to continuous improvement and shift handoffs to prepare for advancement to an Extrusion Lead role.

Lead and oversee toolmaking activities including manufacturing, setup, maintenance, repair, and changeovers of extrusion dies and tooling. Program and operate 3-axis CNC and Wire EDM, create CAM programs, use CAD/CAM, inspect to tight tolerances, support production troubleshooting, continuous improvement, preventive maintenance, and cross-functional coordination to maximize uptime and product quality in a safe manufacturing environment.

Oversee all plant accounting functions including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, internal controls, compliance, tax and regulatory filings, inventory valuation and COGS. Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and corporate reporting. Lead and mentor plant accounting team and collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to drive accurate financial reporting and decision-support for plant leadership and corporate finance.

Drive regional sales growth and margin for Polymer & Profiles product line by managing OEM and distributor accounts, developing account strategies, providing technical support and training, coordinating cross-functional teams, tracking opportunities in Salesforce, negotiating supply contracts, and representing the company at industry events.
