Lead process optimization, yield and throughput improvements, continuous improvement, and technology transfer from R&D to commercial production. Develop PFDs, P&IDs, SOPs, process models, and mass and energy balances; support scale-up trials, commissioning, validation, troubleshooting, and equipment development. Collaborate with operations, maintenance, controls, research, and engineering teams while managing project schedules, budgets, changes, documentation, training, and communications at the Ranchito facility.

Hands-on engineer supporting pilot plant and production operations, including equipment operation, troubleshooting, inventory and shipment readiness, process optimization, SOP development, deviation management, and scale-up from R&D to commercial manufacturing. The role collaborates with operations, commercialization, maintenance, and controls teams to implement validated improvements and build scalable, data-driven plant systems.

Own and grow a named account portfolio for functional food ingredients, prospecting, qualifying, closing, and managing reorders. Translate customer formulation and process needs into application trials, quantify cost and performance benefits, negotiate pricing and development agreements, and guide product innovation. The role requires technical fluency in food ingredient functionality, customer pilot trials, qualification processes, and commercial scale-up, with responsibility for quota attainment in an early-stage business.
