The Solution Engineer will engage with customers, develop proposals, optimize projects, and support early-stage project engineering in solar power applications.

Build and lead Planted’s Australian market for robotic, high-density solar systems. Own the sales pipeline from prospecting through signed agreements, develop EPC and channel partnerships, structure commercial terms, defend techno-economic cases, and coordinate technical, certification, supply, and compliance workstreams. Represent the company with developers, industrial buyers, government bodies, and industry groups while sharing market intelligence with the US team. The role requires substantial Australian utility-scale solar experience, a strong industry network, channel-selling expertise, quantitative modeling skills, autonomy, and travel.

Own end-to-end procurement and supply chain execution for solar projects, from BOM verification and purchase orders through supplier management, logistics, onsite delivery, inventory, and material traceability. Coordinate with engineering, project management, field teams, freight partners, and vendors to meet schedules, control costs, assure quality, mitigate risks, and improve procurement workflows. The role requires managing domestic and international suppliers and occasional travel to project or supplier sites.
