Manages general ledger closing, journal entries, reconciliations, fixed assets, inventory, transfer orders, cost accounting, and reporting for Planet’s Berlin manufacturing operations. Maintains asset registers and inventory controls, supports physical counts, develops standard costing workflows, and ensures compliance with US GAAP and German GAAP. Partners with international finance and operations teams across multiple entities.

Lead export/import compliance for a satellite/aerospace company: manage DDTC/BIS licensing, classify technology, review and approve shipments, train stakeholders, interface with US agencies, develop policies and controls, support audits and investigations, and partner with supply chain, engineering, and legal teams to mitigate trade risks.

Own Berlin’s procurement and logistics operations for satellite manufacturing, managing purchase orders, supplier performance, inventory demand, freight forwarding, customs, import/export compliance, and shipment routing. Build processes and SOPs, maintain ERP and purchasing data, track supply-chain metrics, coordinate with U.S. teams and European suppliers, and help establish and grow the Berlin supply-chain function.
