Partner with Product, Sales, Industry Marketing, Enablement, and executives to translate complex AI, SaaS, geospatial, and monitoring capabilities into compelling customer narratives and usable assets.

Own the product strategy and roadmap for Planet’s defense and intelligence tasking solutions. Translate mission rules into satellite collection workflows, optimize tasking across constellations, and convert recurring field integrations into reusable platform capabilities. Partner with engineering, sales, compliance, security, and adjacent product teams to deliver low-latency, export-compliant solutions for defense customers. Prioritize technical backlogs, communicate trade-offs, and represent operational requirements across shared platform products.

Lead go-to-market strategy, positioning, and messaging for Planet's AI capabilities. Translate technical AI features into buyer value, drive product-market fit, produce sales enablement assets, and partner with Product, Sales, and Marketing to launch AI-powered geospatial products. Hybrid role based in San Francisco or Washington D.C.

Lead account-based marketing strategy and execution for EMEA government, defense, and intelligence accounts. Build personalized, multi-channel campaigns, partner with sales and marketing on account plans, manage bespoke events, and drive engagement, pipeline, and revenue. The role also requires marketing automation and CRM proficiency, campaign performance tracking, AI-enabled marketing, stakeholder alignment, and management of multiple programs under deadlines.

Build, maintain, and operate cloud-based automation, infrastructure, and microservices supporting satellite operations. Develop Mission Control systems and distributed services for spacecraft scheduling, tasking, and telemetry processing. Architect air-gapped deployments, manage Kubernetes orchestration, improve reliability and scalability, troubleshoot distributed systems, optimize constrained clusters, document operations, and participate in on-call rotations. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver reproducible, consistently performant services.

Oversee deployment, installation, construction, maintenance, and operational excellence for Planet’s global satellite ground station network. Coordinate hardware and material logistics, manage on-site implementation, track infrastructure assets, and provide installation progress updates. The role requires antenna and RF systems expertise, independent decision-making, frequent international travel, physical equipment handling, driving, and collaboration with spacecraft operations, mission control, finance, logistics, and service delivery teams.

Provide regional IT support across Europe and Asia, managing device lifecycles, hardware and software troubleshooting, onboarding and offboarding, access provisioning, patching, and office videoconferencing systems. Support Windows and macOS users, maintain Polycom and Zoom Rooms, improve IT processes, and collaborate with global IT teams.
