Collaborate with prescribers, pharmacists, nurses, technicians, and patient care teams to resolve therapy questions and optimize treatment. Independently manage prescription workflows, maintain clinical documentation, support quality assurance and process improvements, and participate in on-call and weekend coverage. This is a full-time, on-site role in Austin with limited travel.

The Insurance Specialist verifies medical and pharmacy benefits, manages medication prior authorizations, investigates rejected claims, coordinates with payers, patients, providers, pharmacists, and care teams, and identifies financial assistance opportunities. The role tracks authorizations and appeals, communicates coverage and out-of-pocket information, documents insurance activity, protects patient information under HIPAA, and helps resolve medication-access barriers.
