Oversee daily care, health, feeding, selection, and development of replacement gilts. Lead farm staff, enforce biosecurity and animal welfare protocols, monitor growth and reproductive performance, maintain records, manage acclimation and isolation, and ensure barn, equipment, and environmental conditions support herd health and productivity.

Manage daily swine production operations across an assigned farm unit, leading employees and improving efficiency, profitability, animal welfare, biosecurity, and safety. Responsibilities include employee training, inventory and feed ordering, production recordkeeping, facility and ventilation oversight, financial analysis, budgeting support, recruiting coordination, and payroll and HR documentation. The role requires hands-on leadership in nursery and finishing operations, weekend availability, and residence within 50 minutes of the farm.

Accelerated leadership program providing hands-on swine production training across farrowing, gestation, gilt development, animal husbandry, employee engagement, farm operations, safety, biosecurity, and production management. Participants relocate among facilities, complete production documentation, communicate animal health concerns, follow welfare protocols, and develop leadership skills while working in physically demanding farm environments.
