Lead and train employees in farrowing operations to meet production goals. Oversee animal husbandry, ventilation, facility maintenance, recordkeeping, safety, biosecurity, and employee development. Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and communicate with the farm manager. Requires hands-on animal handling and weekend work.

Accelerated leadership development program focused on swine production. Participants gain hands-on farm experience in farrowing, gestation, and gilt development, learn management and employee engagement, follow biosecurity and safety protocols, complete production paperwork, communicate about production and animal health, relocate to multiple facilities, and perform physical farm labor including animal handling.
