Supports secondary capital advisory transactions for private equity sponsors and institutional investors. Responsibilities include preparing transaction materials, building financial projection and fund-level return models, conducting investor outreach, supporting due diligence and legal negotiations, screening prospective mandates, and communicating with clients, management teams, investors, and internal advisory teams.

Coordinates domestic and international fundraising roadshows for private funds, including LP scheduling, client and internal team communication, itineraries, travel logistics, conference participation, CRM updates, follow-ups, and executive calendar support. The role also handles expenses, meeting materials, and ad hoc projects while exercising discretion and managing competing priorities in a high-visibility investment banking environment.

Support Piper Sandler’s Public Finance division by creating and updating Excel spreadsheets, using industry-standard software to calculate debt schedules and sources and uses, preparing meeting deliverables, and assisting with team projects. The internship requires strong analytical, communication, research, problem-solving, and financial-market skills. Tableau knowledge is helpful but not required.
