Provides comprehensive medical-surgical nursing care using the nursing process, including assessment, care planning, medication and blood-component administration, patient education, documentation, safety, and coordination with physicians and healthcare team members. Supports ancillary staff, participates in quality improvement and education, cross-trains as needed, and cares for adult and geriatric patients. Requires California RN licensure, BLS certification, and ACLS certification as applicable.

Provides comprehensive labor and delivery nursing care for mothers and newborns, including maternal-fetal monitoring, medication administration, delivery assistance, emergency response, newborn stabilization, postpartum education, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Floats to postpartum, antepartum, and newborn nursery departments as needed. Participates in quality improvement, patient education, mentoring, and compliance with California nursing laws and hospital standards. Requires California RN licensure, BLS certification, and obstetric and neonatal clinical expertise.

Provides licensed vocational nursing care to long-term care residents under RN supervision. Responsibilities include assessments, medication administration, treatments, documentation, care-plan participation, incident reporting, emergency response, infection control, and coordination with physicians and families. The LVN also supervises CNAs and assists with staff orientation, quality assurance, compliance, and facility meetings.
