Oversees daily branch operations and assists the operations manager with supervising personnel, enforcing banking policies, serving customers, promoting bank products, reviewing reports, supporting compliance, preparing budgets, and training staff. The role may perform personal banking, account opening, teller, customer service, and account maintenance duties while helping the branch meet financial, operational, and service goals.

Processes invoices, vendor data, checks, statements, and payments; researches discrepancies; assists with audits, 1099 reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger activities. Provides internal and external customer support, rotates front-desk and administrative duties, and maintains accurate records while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced banking environment.

Participates in a 12–18 month banking management training program covering branch retail, operations, lending, customer prospecting, cross-selling, loan portfolio management, management reporting, loan committee preparation, required training, and relationship-building events. The role prepares the trainee for future executive or supervisory positions within the bank.
