Provides nursing care in a weekend walk-in clinic under physician, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant direction. Responsibilities include reviewing records and test results, preparing examination rooms, collecting vital signs, reconciling medications and allergies, supporting referrals and precertifications, implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient progress.

Schedules ambulatory surgery center and clinic appointments, reviews medical records and screening criteria, verifies insurance eligibility, collects payments, explains patient financial obligations, coordinates pre-certification needs, processes claims, manages calls and paperwork, and maintains accurate electronic patient charts.

Provides clerical and patient support for wellness and chronic care management departments. Schedules patient and health coach appointments, answers calls, manages correspondence and medical records, screens patients and visitors, verifies wellness benefits, supports timely patient processing, and assists with ACO reporting.
