Pillsbury seeks a mid-level energy associate to support nuclear, fusion, and broader energy infrastructure matters. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating commercial, procurement, development, supply, and project agreements; supporting project development, financing, regulatory, licensing, compliance, and export control matters; and managing substantive workstreams and client relationships. Candidates need a J.D. or equivalent, 3–5 years of relevant legal experience, strong transactional or regulatory skills, excellent legal writing, and admission or eligibility for the District of Columbia Bar.

Supports attorneys with corporate and securities transactions, including IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, entity formation, venture capital financings, stock option plans, and corporate governance. Maintains capitalization records, corporate records, and minute books; prepares securities filings, formation and closing documents; supports deal closings and post-closing tasks; and conducts due diligence and securities research.

Support firm Strategy & Marketing by executing business development plans for assigned practices: create and customize pitch materials, monitor news for opportunities, assist lateral partner onboarding, execute follow-up for events and thought leadership, and coordinate BD initiatives with lawyers and colleagues.
