Lead architecture, development, and deployment of software for spectroscopy and analytical instruments. Build embedded Linux control systems, data acquisition software, APIs, drivers, services, automation tools, and cloud-connected applications. Collaborate with hardware, firmware, optical, systems, manufacturing, and product teams; resolve complex integration issues; improve software quality through testing and CI; support calibration, manufacturing, diagnostics, and product planning; and mentor junior engineers.

Lead cross-functional technical programs for vertically integrated hardware, firmware, and cloud software products. Responsibilities include planning, resource allocation, scheduling, risk mitigation, supplier and consultant management, agile coordination, hardware build planning, manufacturing handoffs, product releases, process improvement, and executive reporting. The role supports scientific, analytical, or medical instrumentation products and requires collaboration across engineering, marketing, operations, supply chain, product, and manufacturing teams.

Develop statistical, physical, and atmospheric models for detecting, attributing, localizing, and quantifying trace gases and emissions. Analyze time-series, geospatial, sensor, and scientific datasets; design experiments; quantify uncertainty; and translate research models into production cloud-platform components. Collaborate with analytics, product, engineering, and customer success teams while documenting and communicating findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
