Leads the engineering organization, setting strategy, technology roadmaps, annual priorities, and new-product-development initiatives. Builds and develops engineering teams, drives innovation and technical excellence, manages KPIs, budgets, and resources, and leads continuous improvement. Partners cross-functionally with sales, operations, quality, finance, customers, suppliers, and external engineering resources to deliver aerospace and defense interconnect solutions.

Responsible for identifying and growing customer relationships in aerospace and defense, acting as Voice of Customer, developing strategic account plans, cold calling, and coordinating internal teams to close technical sales opportunities involving cable and avionics technologies. Significant domestic travel required.

Lead strategic business development in aerospace and defense by identifying growth, partnerships, licensing, and M&A opportunities; scout emerging technologies and markets; collaborate with sales, engineering, and product teams; and support transition of approved proposals into execution.
