Own company-wide recruiting for technical, research, leadership, and executive roles. Build the sourcing engine, candidate network, interview processes, scorecards, ATS infrastructure, funnel reporting, and recruiting compliance practices from scratch. Personally source, assess, represent, and close exceptional candidates while maintaining a high hiring bar. The role requires deep recruiting experience with frontier AI, research, engineering, or deep-tech talent, strong executive search judgment, technical fluency, discretion, and comfort operating as the first recruiting hire at a seed-stage company.

Serve as strategic partner to the CEO to build and run company operations: scale hiring and performance management, own processes (PM, KPI tracking, legal/compliance, finance, HR), deploy agentic AI workflows across operations, and scale commercial operational readiness to support revenue growth.

Own and prioritize a portfolio of AI-driven physics discovery campaigns, decide routing of results (publication, patent, trade secret, open source), build external review and IP intake pipelines, manage filings with counsel, and defend portfolio allocations while ensuring verification and compliance.
