Design, fine-tune, and evaluate LLMs; build agentic NLP workflows; develop hybrid automated and human evaluation frameworks; benchmark frontier models; and guide data, active-learning, and feedback strategies. Partner with Product and Engineering to ship research capabilities, mentor junior researchers, review technical work, contribute to hiring, and represent research across the organization.

Conduct applied AI research for production language systems, including fine-tuning LLMs, developing translation-quality evaluation pipelines, benchmarking models, building agentic workflows, and running reproducible experiments. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Solutions to ship research-driven capabilities. The role focuses on NLP, machine translation, human and automated evaluation, feedback loops, and continuous model improvement under the guidance of senior researchers.

Provides in-house legal support for commercial contracts, contract negotiations, compliance, data protection, AI governance, and legal analysis. Drafts and revises agreements, supports sales contracting, manages the contract repository, and improves legal processes and templates. Requires Czech and EU legal expertise, GDPR knowledge, strong English and negotiation skills, and at least three years of legal experience.

Own Phrase’s internal AI and automation strategy across non-engineering functions. Build prototypes through production, drive adoption, measure cycle-time improvements, and deliver cross-functional systems such as CPQ. Lead build-versus-buy evaluations, vendor decisions, AI governance, and Launchpad review processes while integrating AI into core CRM, ticketing, finance, and collaboration systems.

Lead research and production development of LLMs and transformer models for machine translation and language quality. Design evaluation frameworks, agentic NLP workflows, training pipelines, and model-provider strategies. Own flagship model programs from data curation through production integration, mentor researchers, review technical work, and collaborate with Product and Engineering to ship capabilities. The role requires deep NLP and LLM expertise, rigorous experimentation, strong Python and ML library skills, and technical leadership.

Guide customers through onboarding and post-sale engagement, helping them implement Phrase solutions, adopt best-practice workflows, and realize value. Conduct workflow audits, troubleshoot challenges, explain technical features to non-technical users, manage multiple accounts, create tutorials and educational content, and host live Q&A sessions to improve retention and expansion.
