Design and build scalable backend services and AI-powered applications using Node.js/TypeScript or Python. Develop AI agents, agentic workflows, LLM integrations, tool calling, evaluation frameworks, REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven services. Partner with Product and Business teams, provide architecture guidance and code reviews, lead an offshore engineering pod, and optimize backend and AI workloads for reliability and performance. The role is onsite in Rhode Island or Arizona.

Develop and extend SAP Hybris and Commerce Cloud e-commerce platforms, including Spartacus storefronts, backend services, custom extensions, workflows, and third-party integrations. Build scalable checkout, inventory, pricing, promotions, search, and cart features. Troubleshoot production issues, optimize high-volume performance, support cloud deployments, and maintain high availability through code reviews and engineering best practices.

Designs and maintains automated test frameworks for web, API, and mobile applications. Performs functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing; validates APIs, databases, and integrations; integrates tests into CI/CD pipelines; manages defects; collaborates with development and product teams in Agile ceremonies; and provides quality metrics and reporting.
