Designs and implements control architectures for custom automated laser systems. Responsibilities include selecting controllers, I/O, motion components, and safety interlocks; creating AutoCAD electrical schematics and bills of materials; programming PLCs, motion controllers, robots, and vision systems; reviewing drawings; supporting electrical assembly and equipment debugging; and traveling to customer sites for installation and field service.
