Manages full-cycle accounting for nonprofit government grants and contracts, including revenue recognition, receivables, deferred revenue, journal entries, reconciliations, vouchers, reimbursement claims, draw requests, and closeout activities. Reviews award terms, budgets, allowability, and compliance requirements while maintaining accurate audit trails and coordinating with budget staff. Supports federal, state, and local grant reporting, collections, and resolution of discrepancies.

The Senior Accountant prepares financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, general ledger activities, management reports, budget-versus-actual analyses, and audit schedules. The role analyzes financial information, resolves discrepancies, supports month-end and year-end close processes, and identifies opportunities to improve efficiency and spending. It requires knowledge of GAAP, government and nonprofit accounting, funding agency requirements, accounting software, and advanced Excel.

Provides direct nursing care to clients recovering from substance use disorders. Responsibilities include medication administration, EKGs, wound care, specimen collection, vital-sign monitoring, clinical documentation, health education, care coordination, patient observation, and supervision of unlicensed assistive personnel. Requires a current New York State LPN license, nursing program completion, CPR, First Aid, Narcan, infection control, and child abuse certifications, plus at least three years of related experience.
