Phalen Leadership Academies Benefits Overview

Supports special education students individually and in small groups under certified teacher supervision. Implements academic and behavioral plans, provides tutoring and classroom support, monitors students during non-classroom activities, contributes progress and behavior data, performs administrative tasks, and collaborates with teachers and administrators.

Elementary teachers will create supportive classroom environments, plan and deliver rigorous standards-based instruction, assess student mastery, track academic and social progress, and adjust instruction to help scholars meet growth goals. They will build relationships with students, families, and the school community while promoting attendance, persistence, achievement, and development in underserved communities.

Develops and delivers individualized special education instruction for students with disabilities. Creates and implements IEPs and 504 plan accommodations, assesses academic and developmental needs, tracks progress, adapts lessons, and collaborates with classroom teachers and families to support student achievement in an inclusive K–5 charter school environment.
