Coordinate international ocean freight shipments from origin pickup through delivery. Responsibilities include selecting routes, booking transportation capacity, arranging delivery or storage, preparing shipping documentation, tracking shipments, communicating status updates, coordinating external agents, updating operating systems, accruing costs, and ensuring compliance with customer procedures.

Processes accounts receivable transactions, invoices, payments, and financial records using accounting software, spreadsheets, and databases. Reconciles accounts, identifies discrepancies, prepares billing statements and financial reports, receives and records cash and checks, matches orders with invoices, and maintains accurate documentation. The role also performs general clerical duties, responds to account inquiries, follows applicable policies, and supports internal teams and clients.

Manages EDI and logistics information systems projects from planning through delivery. Responsibilities include integrating systems, troubleshooting and modifying applications, developing project plans, coordinating resources, monitoring budgets and milestones, analyzing business and customer needs, documenting procedures, supporting system implementations, and collaborating with IT, operations, sales, finance, customers, engineers, and software developers. The role requires logistics industry experience, project management expertise, and API/EDI integration experience.
