Personnel Board of Jefferson County Benefits Overview

Provides executive leadership for daily municipal operations under the Mayor; supervises department heads and staff; manages budgets, contracts, investigations, and grievance processes; represents the Mayor to boards and the community; advises City Council; attends meetings and ensures effective delivery of city services.

Assist Director in administering Parks and Leisure Services, supervising staff, overseeing facility operations, coordinating programming, senior services, events, community partnerships, customer service, and financial/purchasing administration to ensure effective delivery of recreational services.

Supervise and coordinate departmental administrative and business functions, including customer service, records management, payroll, budgeting, accounts payable/receivable, procurement, inventory, policy compliance, and staff supervision including hiring, training, and performance monitoring.
