The Clinical Education Specialist builds referral relationships, educates providers on sleep diagnostics, and supports operational initiatives in the Connecticut territory.

Coordinates patient sleep study scheduling, order entry, demographic and medical information verification, documentation, and communication with patients, physicians, hospitals, internal teams, and payors. Ensures medical necessity, payer compliance, HIPAA adherence, accurate records, and timely resolution of missing information. Provides patient education, responds to inquiries, and supports cross-training and departmental workflows.

Lead accreditation and regulatory readiness for AASM, The Joint Commission, CMS, and state requirements across multi-site sleep diagnostic services. Maintain accreditation calendars, translate standards into policies/workflows, manage surveys and remediation, oversee state licensure, run internal audits, training, and cross-functional compliance reporting to ensure ongoing regulatory and reimbursement compliance.
