Operate and monitor blast machines, conveyors, and rack systems to prepare pipe surfaces to SSPC and customer standards. Perform inspections and documentation for cleanliness and profile tests, conduct minor maintenance and troubleshooting, follow safety procedures (Lockout/Tagout, WHMIS), train assistants, and maintain housekeeping in an industrial, on-site manufacturing environment with shift work.

The HSE Specialist supports workplace safety and environmental compliance in an industrial manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include OSHA compliance and recordkeeping, inspections, hazard assessments, incident investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, safety training, contractor oversight, trend analysis, workers’ compensation coordination, and continuous improvement of HSE programs. The role provides daily safety guidance to employees, supervisors, contractors, and visitors while promoting a proactive safety culture.
