Manages project accounting for construction projects, including owner billing, job cost processing, subcontractor payments, waiver packages, insurance compliance, financial reconciliations, and project closeout. Reviews contracts, identifies billing requirements and unbilled costs, supports project teams, and monitors cash flow and project profitability while ensuring compliance with internal controls.

The Project Accountant reviews contracts, processes job costs, prepares owner billings, reconciles costs and project profit and loss, coordinates subcontractor payments and waivers, monitors insurance compliance, identifies unbilled costs, and supports project closeout. The role requires collaboration with project teams, strong attention to detail, knowledge of billing and accounting controls, and proficiency with accounting software, with CMiC experience preferred.

Leads enterprise risk management strategy, insurance programs, CCIP and subcontractor default insurance, contractual risk, claims, loss control, fleet risk, and mitigation initiatives. Advises executives and operational leaders, manages brokers and claims partners, oversees complex insurance and claims portfolios, negotiates risk terms, analyzes loss trends, and drives safety and risk improvements across construction operations.
