Leads complex internal audit engagements from planning through reporting, including risk assessment, control testing, data analysis, workpaper review, findings communication, and remediation follow-up. Provides advisory support, contributes to audit planning and Audit Committee reporting, coordinates with external auditors and other assurance functions, and mentors staff auditors. The role requires knowledge of internal auditing, risk management, insurance regulations, financial reporting controls, IT controls, and data analytics.

Conducts on-site surveys and virtual meetings for commercial insurance accounts, evaluates operations and safety programs, assesses compliance with OSHA, NFPA, DOT, ANSI, and other codes, and recommends hazard controls. Provides loss control consulting, industrial hygiene and ergonomic assessments, training, documentation, and underwriting support. Handles complex accounts, communicates with agents and insureds, supports staff training, and manages vendor loss control work. The role requires travel throughout Alabama, including overnight stays.
