Petróleos Mexicanos is the largest company in Mexico, the largest tax taxpayer in the country, as well as one of the largest companies in Latin America.

It is one of the few oil companies in the world that develops the entire production chain of the industry, from exploration to distribution and marketing of final products, including petrochemicals.

Pemex contributes 35% of the PEF, in other words it contributes 1 in every 3 pesos for the construction of schools, roads and hospitals. The success rate in deep water exploration is 50%, which is higher than the international standard. In 2014, investments amounted to more than 25 billion dollars. Pemex generated more than half a million indirect jobs. Annually Pemex invests close to 140 million dollars in donations
