Designs and supports aerial and underground fiber OSP projects, focusing on joint-use and pole-attachment engineering. Responsibilities include pole loading and make-ready analysis, utility coordination, permitting support, construction-ready drawings, application tracking, field-data review, quality control, and project documentation. The engineer coordinates with utilities, municipalities, telecommunications providers, contractors, and internal teams to resolve design issues and deliver compliant projects on schedule.

Lead the company’s SOX 404 and internal controls program as it integrates into a public company environment. Responsibilities include designing and testing business, entity-level, IT-dependent, and automated controls; coordinating auditors and parent-company compliance teams; managing risk assessments, documentation, remediation, and reporting; advising executives and control owners; and driving process standardization and automation. The role requires extensive Big Four, public accounting, SOX, internal audit, program management, and cross-functional leadership experience.

Manages pole attachment applications for outside-plant telecommunications projects, from engineering review through utility approval. Coordinates with pole owners, electric utilities, cable companies, and telecommunications providers; reviews designs and work prints; identifies ownership, conflicts, and deficiencies; submits and tracks permits; and resolves approval issues. The role requires knowledge of utility-pole power and telecommunications placement, aerial fiber construction, OSP engineering workflows, and applicable NESC and utility-specific requirements.
