Headquartered in Austin, Texas, with roots at the Chicago Board of Trade and offices across the globe, PEAK6 is powered by the same trading that got us our start. It fuels us to think outside the box and remain nimble. We don’t chase a bottom line; we adapt our vision to embrace and empower today’s consumers through technology, simplifying processes, improving performance, and creating new wealth.

Building Culture
A Team in Perpetual Motion
There’s never a dull moment in PEAK6’s office. From the annual “biggest spectacle of a work party” — which last year featured a Bruno Mars concert — to Castro’s own tradition of bringing homemade cookies to the office once a week, PEAK6’s culture is full of moments large and small that help create a sense of community across the team. That encouragement to celebrate and innovate reflects the company’s opportunities to grow. “There really are plenty of ways to have an impact on culture and make the PEAK6 workplace the kind that you want,” he said. “We are perpetually in motion.”

Patrick Cummings
VP, Technology Experience
As the leader of PEAK6 Technology Advisory Group, Cummings is focused on making sure the company’s IT investments allow the enterprise to make sound decisions. “We ensure that our services are aimed at increasing functionality and value instead of just fixing problems,” Cummings told Built In. “This means each and every day is dynamic.” Cummings’ diverse team of designers, developers, analysts and security professionals drives the vision for a strong IT foundation through sound practices and repeatable controls. “We provide insight with data to move the business forward,” he said.
We want to make sure we are right in our decisions now and not learning how to escape from them later.
