PIE, the Portland Incubator Experiment, is an ongoing experiment to explore how established organizations — like corporations, government entities, and educational institutions — and the Portland, Oregon, startup community can more effectively collaborate for mutual benefit. At its most basic, PIE is a community development and ecosystem building program disguised as a startup accelerator.
