Advises executives and cross-functional teams on accounting implications of products, partnerships, M&A, capital markets, and international expansion. Builds and mentors the accounting team while supporting IPO and public-company readiness.

Lead the technical foundation for PayJoy’s payments platform by solving critical technical challenges, architecting scalable distributed systems, building observable frontend and backend services, and driving cross-functional technical initiatives. Mentor engineers, establish reusable patterns and frameworks, improve platform processes, and make key hands-on technical decisions for systems serving millions of users.

Lead technical foundations for payments and other platform teams by solving critical technical problems, architecting scalable distributed systems, implementing reusable engineering patterns, mentoring engineers, and driving platform and process improvements. The role requires hands-on backend development in Python, cloud platform experience, relational and NoSQL database expertise, system design skills, and strong cross-functional communication. Experience with mobile payments, fintech fraud and identity systems, and large-scale platforms is desirable.
