Manage and grow the Troops to Timber workforce initiative: run cohorts and certificate programs, recruit and coordinate with Fort Drum and partners, deliver field-based training, track program data and outcomes, support curriculum improvements, secure employer pathways for internships/apprenticeships, and teach or assist in forestry courses. Regular travel to Fort Drum, Paul Smith's College, and regional sites required.

Part-time student crew supporting timber harvesting, lean-to/cabin construction and trail building. Tasks include felling support, skidding, limbing, equipment maintenance, timber marking, GIS/GPS work, sugar bush production, tool maintenance, and estimating materials. Work is outdoor, physical, team‑based, and safety-focused.

Provide cross-trained operational support for campus events, guest housing, and mercantile retail. Duties include event setup/breakdown, guest check-in/out, POS transactions, inventory, room prep, signage, basic data entry, and reporting. Work evenings, weekends, and peak periods while maintaining customer service, safety, and college policies.
