The role partners with product, design, engineering, quality, sales, and customer success teams to deliver reliable, user-centered software in a fast-paced startup environment.

Lead multidisciplinary hardware development projects from concept through design, validation, manufacturing, certification, and product launch. Create integrated plans, manage milestones, risks, dependencies, suppliers, prototype and production builds, and manufacturing readiness. Coordinate engineering, quality, supply chain, and manufacturing teams while communicating progress and driving issue resolution. The role requires strong hardware development knowledge, project management expertise, and experience shipping physical products.

Supports the Amsterdam team’s people operations, culture, payroll and benefits administration, office and workplace management, travel logistics, invoices, documentation, and internal processes. The role organizes events, maintains a positive employee experience, handles confidential information, coordinates with external offices, and improves day-to-day operations in a fast-paced startup environment.

Manage the planning, coordination, and deployment of autonomous building technology across partner sites in Europe. Oversee building controls integration, construction and installation activities, project timelines, engineering support, contractors, channel partners, and end-user relationships. Troubleshoot technical and execution challenges, ensure alignment with design specifications, and relay deployment feedback to internal leadership. The role requires strong knowledge of building controls, HVAC, smart-building technologies, and construction workflows, along with willingness to travel for deployments.

Lead end-to-end development of ultra-low-power wireless embedded products, including architecture, production C code, custom sub-GHz protocols, hardware integration, board bring-up, and HIL/SIL testing. Collaborate across electrical, mechanical, industrial design, and validation teams. Use Python, Bash, Linux, and Git to automate workflows and maintain quality codebases. Apply systems engineering, power optimization, RF knowledge, and math and physics fundamentals while mentoring teams and supporting manufacturing.

Develop and co-lead embedded hardware platforms from architecture through high-volume production. Build firmware and software, create HIL/SIL testing frameworks, debug hardware-software integrations, and ensure robust, power-efficient systems. Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, industrial design, product, and verification teams to deliver autonomous building controllers. Maintain technical documentation, support feature development and productization, mentor and align teams, and contribute to compliance testing and manufacturing support.

Deploy and validate autonomous building technologies in commercial facilities. Conduct site surveys, inspect HVAC and control systems, test sensors and actuators, troubleshoot issues across mechanical, controls, networking, and software layers, support system commissioning and startup, and collect building data for optimization. The role requires hands-on commercial HVAC experience, field troubleshooting, cross-functional collaboration, and comfort working in tight or challenging site environments.
