Administers payroll and employee benefits for unionized and non-unionized employees. Responsibilities include payroll processing, reconciliations, benefits and pension administration, reporting, compliance monitoring, collective agreement interpretation, employee support, audits, and process improvement. The role collaborates with Finance, Human Resources, unions, service providers, and operational leaders while ensuring accurate, timely payroll and benefits administration.

Supports financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial modeling, performance reporting, and business case development. Partners with operational leaders on resource allocation, cost control, strategic initiatives, risk management, compliance, and government reporting. Prepares executive and Board materials, improves reporting through business intelligence tools, and provides financial insights to support organizational performance and decision-making.

Provides administrative, operational, and analytical support to financial planning, risk management, and contract administration teams. Responsibilities include scheduling, minute-taking, document management, budget and forecast support, invoice tracking, risk and compliance documentation, contract database maintenance, reporting, data validation, audit coordination, and cross-functional project coordination. The role supports committees, regulatory reporting, accreditation activities, and departmental workflows in a regulated long-term care environment.
