Designs and implements scalable backend systems using Java and JVM technologies. Responsibilities include translating product requirements into maintainable code, applying TDD, BDD, and SOLID principles, supporting production systems, resolving incidents, conducting root-cause analysis, collaborating with product stakeholders, mentoring engineers, and evaluating new technologies.

Design and maintain high-performance backend microservices, REST and gRPC APIs, event-driven pipelines, and LLM orchestration services. Build scalable systems with TypeScript, Node.js, and Go; optimize relational, search, and caching data stores; deploy applications on AWS and Kubernetes; and establish observability, testing, documentation, and incident-response practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to make product-shaping technical decisions for responsive conversational AI experiences.

Design, implement, and support scalable distributed systems and internet-facing APIs using Java and JVM technologies. Build test-driven features, apply SOLID principles, collaborate with product stakeholders, resolve production incidents, conduct root cause analysis, mentor engineers, share knowledge, and evaluate emerging technologies. The role requires cloud, SQL and NoSQL, reactive programming, system scalability, and Agile experience.
