Lead title research and curative work for oil and gas properties across Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. Prepare runsheets, ownership reports, and title opinions; draft and negotiate leases and land contracts; resolve title defects; manage client relationships; mentor junior landmen; deliver due diligence and acquisition/divestiture packages; maintain organized project files and stay current on state law and industry standards.

Lead and manage land and title projects across multiple U.S. basins from scoping to completion. Serve as primary client contact, build timelines, staff and budget plans, recruit and oversee land teams, review and QC title work, resolve complex leasehold issues, and provide regular status updates while ensuring regulatory and county-level compliance.

Manage and analyze Held By Production (HBP) assets across Texas, New Mexico, Colorado and other basins. Review leases, drilling clauses, production data, and title to determine HBP status. Communicate findings clearly to clients and teams, keep documentation organized, work independently while remaining responsive and deadline-driven in a remote-friendly environment.

Perform title research and analysis for oil and gas projects in West Texas, including courthouse work and online record searches. Prepare run sheets, ownership reports, and mineral ownership chains; analyze leases and deeds; identify and resolve title issues; communicate findings to project managers and maintain organized documentation.

Contract landman to perform courthouse-present title research on legacy unitized CO2 fields in SW Colorado, review federal and state leases via SRP, and coordinate with a multi-state diligence team. Must have deep SW Colorado title knowledge and experience with older unitized lease chains.

Perform title and landman duties for oil and gas projects including in-house title assembly ahead of rig schedules, post-acquisition data integration, frequent travel several times a month, and close collaboration with stakeholders and team members. Maintain required AAPL membership and relevant certifications.
