As a Research Engineer, you will develop software for BCI applications, design data curation strategies, and evaluate BCI decoding algorithms. You will collaborate with various teams and participate in code reviews, aiming to enhance communication for users with speech impairments.

Develop software for clinical brain-computer interface applications, including BCI data curation, neural decoding algorithms, hardware-in-the-loop evaluation, and software tools. Collaborate with scientists, engineers, neuroscience, machine learning, and quality teams to define requirements, review code, and support clinical studies. Regular travel between Austin and Oakland offices is required.

The Electrical Engineer will design and develop PCBs, handle schematics, select components, and coordinate with vendors while ensuring quality and supporting debugging efforts.

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will develop firmware for brain machine implants, focusing on latency, power efficiency, and reliability. Responsibilities include writing software in Rust, optimizing performance, contributing to testing, and maintaining documentation.

The Electrical Engineer will manage system-level electrical development, focusing on integration, debugging, and stabilization of hardware and programmable systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
