Serves as the clinic’s first point of contact by answering phones, scheduling and confirming appointments, checking in and out patients, collecting payments, maintaining records, processing authorizations and requests, verifying eligibility, supporting billing, balancing daily receipts, and maintaining efficient front-office operations while protecting patient confidentiality.

Dispenses medications safely and accurately, reviews physician orders, identifies therapeutic incompatibilities, monitors drug therapies, counsels patients, supports healthcare professionals, supervises pharmacy technicians, maintains controlled-substance records, documents in the EMR, and complies with pharmacy, safety, and infection-control regulations. The PRN schedule includes varying day, night, and weekend shifts.
