Manages existing automotive paint and supplies accounts, maintaining customer relationships, sales revenue, account plans, CRM records, and service needs. Conducts sales calls, product demonstrations, customer training, complaint follow-up, inventory support, and market research. Coordinates with Territory Managers and vendors, prepares reports and proposals, processes transactions, and supports customer retention and satisfaction. The role requires automotive refinish product knowledge, strong communication, account management skills, driving eligibility, and the ability to handle physical product demonstrations.

Creates, adjusts, and verifies custom paint and coating formulations by blending pigments, resins, solvents, and additives. Uses spectrophotometers and visual inspection to ensure color accuracy, consistency, gloss, texture, durability, and quality. Maintains batch records, operates and maintains mixing and testing equipment, troubleshoots formulation issues, collaborates with production teams, suppliers, and customers, and follows chemical-handling and workplace safety procedures.

The Territory Manager is responsible for managing customer relationships, securing new business, understanding product lines, and preparing sales documentation in the coatings market.
