Leads Pacific University’s Theatre programs, teaches acting, directing, theatre history, and dramatic literature, and produces the annual theatre season. Oversees curriculum, advising, capstone supervision, budgets, scheduling, assessment, staff, adjuncts, designers, and guest artists. Responsibilities also include academic and institutional service, recruitment support, professional development, and creative or scholarly inquiry. The position requires frequent evening, weekend, and holiday commitments and is fully in person.

Manages gift and pledge records, receipting, matching gifts, database imports, data appends, reconciliations, audits, scholarship data, and constituent records. Ensures compliance with university, IRS, state, and federal requirements while maintaining data integrity across fundraising and related systems. Provides cross-functional Advancement Operations coverage, supports reporting and integrations, and may supervise student assistants. The role is hybrid in the Portland metro area with occasional regional travel and occasional evening or weekend work.

Teach and mentor undergraduate accounting students across introductory and upper-level courses, especially taxation, auditing, and accounting information systems. Advise students, develop curriculum, assess learning, support internships and career placement, build employer partnerships, and contribute to departmental and university service. The role also requires integrating professional accounting practice into experiential learning and maintaining current pedagogical and disciplinary knowledge.
