Teams at Pacific Science Center

Creates print and digital marketing collateral for Pacific Science Center programs and events, including posters, flyers, advertisements, image retouching, and creative layouts. Manages multiple projects, collaborates with internal teams and external printers, supports copywriting, maintains organized files, and communicates project needs and deadlines. The role requires onsite work three days per week.

Manages educational program supplies through receiving, inventory control, organization, distribution, maintenance, donation preparation, and specialty waste disposal. Supports camp administration, curriculum supply planning, program development, and operational process improvement. Leads seasonal supply assistants, coordinates materials across multiple locations, performs basic repairs, and ensures safety compliance. The role requires collaboration across education programs, local travel, van operation, physical material handling, and occasional exposure to chemicals and other specialized materials.

Develops and implements government advocacy and funding strategies at city, county, state, and federal levels. Manages government grants, contracts, proposals, reporting, legislative analysis, outreach, and relationships with elected officials and agencies. Prepares impact communications, supports executive and board engagement, tracks activities in CRM systems, and evaluates advocacy outcomes. Requires legislative or lobbying experience, grant or contract management knowledge, strong relationship-building and communication skills, and commitment to equity and inclusion.
