Engage legislatures, regulatory hearings, port leadership, and coalitions; craft policy materials; conduct research; run grassroots and digital campaigns; manage projects, events, and coalition-building with community, labor, and tribal partners.

Lead federal government affairs strategy on maritime shipping policy, represent the organization before Congress and agencies, build coalitions and stakeholder relationships, track legislation and rulemakings, draft testimony and policy materials, coordinate advocacy tactics and funding opportunities, advise leadership, and ensure lobbying compliance while supervising external consultants or junior staff as needed.
